Tuesday we will not be at the Farmer's Market in Calais due to a catering event that day. We will be at Dennysville on Wednesday and Eastport on Thursday. Then look for us on Sunday at the Washington County Fair! Our daughter Rebekah designed the T-Shirts for this year's fair. Also we have added two new menu items: Gluten Free Crust and Pineapple Topping!
Our Mission: We are committed to providing the community with high quality food, knowledge, and experience about organic homesteading. Our mission is to learn about the traditional ways of growing and cooking food and create more 'food Independence' . We are defining 'food independence ' as being more self sufficient and depending less on commercial agricultural practices. We hope to continually increase our products to include locally grown vegetables in season. We offer a Yurt Campground with an outhouse so that guests can stay right on the farm. Campground guests can order a brick oven pizza meal for their entire family. The future of Shofar Farms looks bright!
